This workshop will be held through St. Mary's Art Center, a wonderful facility in the historic town of Virginia City. Predominately a landscape workshop, you will also have the opportunity to paint the old buildings and mining equipment from the boom days of the Comstock. Fall is usually very pleasant here, but if the weather gets uncomfortable, I've planned some great studio still-life exercises that will help train your eye to see subtle color shifts (which of course, will help you back in the field). For a small additional fee you may lodge at St. Mary's (this is highly recommended). I will give plenty of individual attention, addressing everyone's particular strengths and weaknesses.
